On behalf of the Social Services Provision Centre Andreas Sofocleous “KEPAKY” I welcome you!

KEPAKY is a fresh attempt that wishes to be established. It relies on true sentiments of love towards fellow human beings. It is the answer of a group of people who believe that the contribution to society is neither a privilege nor a trend, but a life philosophy which raises the human spirit.

The goal of our website is to provide easily illuminating information on KEPAKY, its goals, history, latest doings and also new events. Using our website you can contact us and become a member. Furthermore, we have added a list of our members to honour those who have valuably supported us.

I hope you will embrace this attempt too. We invite you to become a Friend of KEPAKY and I encourage you to find a way in contributing to the wonderful world of voluntarism.

Social contribution and culture are interlinked. In works of art, in poetry, in song lyrics, in theatre, in music, humanitarian messages are being concentrated, elevating the spirit, the conscious and the sense for what happens around us.

Simultaneously, the artists, inspired by the societal problems around them, create. Therefore, the result of culture is in fact social contribution. For this reason, art has always been a lever for the development of society.

Having this in mind, KEPAKY is trying to promote culture, in the various events and activities it organises, through the traditions, the customs and the uniqueness of Cyprus’ culture.

KEPAKY’s engagement with Sports started from the Foundation’s early steps, since the promotion of Sports to young people fosters good physical and mental health, inner empowerment and clear goal setting in life. All these are principles that govern the Foundation since its establishment.

The saying “Healthy mind in a healthy body” is encompassed and is in line with the Foundation’s aims. The Founder of KEPAKY, Mr. Andreas Sofocleous, has always been an advocate of sports and supported the idea that sports could provide the incentives to young people for them to be benefited and to progress at personal and societal level.
