  • April 2 – Participation in World Autism Day. Participation of KEPAKY in World Autism Day with the following actions:
    • Preparation of badges with a blue ribbon and the KEPAKY logo that were worn by all employees of Andreas Sofocleous Group of Companies on April 2, 2019.
    • Participation in the march organized by the Limassol Autistic Association.
    • Placing a banner outside the offices and lighting of PROTEAS HOUSE in blue for the specific day.
    • In collaboration with the Cyprus Paediatric Society and MILUPA CYPRUS, the Autism Guide brochure created by KEPAKY was distributed to all paediatricians’ surgeries in Limassol and Nicosia.

  • June 23 – Participation in the “Musical Imprints” Festival for the second consecutive year together with the Mexico pavilion in Heroes’ Square.
  • July 20 – KEPAKY put under its auspices the theatrical performance of the students from the theater workshop of Kostas Vichas. Instead of a ticket, there were contributions to KEPAKY and all the proceeds were allocated to the Limassol Municipality program “Musical Polychromy”, which supports KEPAKY.
  • August 2 – KEPAKY organized an educational trip for the children of the Pelendri Municipal School to the Hampi Engraving Museum in Platanistia. The children had the opportunity to learn about art and to meet the world-renowned engraver Mr. Hampi Tsangaris.
  • August – KEPAKY put under its auspices the three-day festival in Louvara, where artists Miltos Paschalidis and Dimitris Bassis were hosted. Contributions were made by those present and all proceeds will be donated to the renovation of the Model Center for People with Autism.
  • KEPAKY supported the “Musical Polychromy” program of the Limassol Municipality, which offers children with fewer opportunities the opportunity to learn musical instruments.
  • September 14 – AEL Volleyball Limassol organized a Beach Volley tournament, the proceeds from the participations and from the raffles will be used in favor of KEPAKY and the POAA for the purchase of school supplies and sports equipment for needy students.
  • October 4: KEPAKY, to celebrate its 10th anniversary, organized a charity Gala Dinner at the St. Raphael Hotel
  • KEPAKY held information lectures on school bullying, with school psychologist Mrs. Georgia Georgiou.
  • October – KEPAKY awarded 13 scholarships to students with socio-economic difficulties, continuing the institution of study aids for the 11th consecutive year.
  • KEPAKY participated in the Zivania Festival in Pelendri, with the stand of the parents’ association of the Pelendri primary school with products, the proceeds of which supported solidarity programs.
  • November 15 – A Voluntary Blood Donation was held in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Limassol Hospital.
  • November 26 – The award ceremony for the vouchers from the volleyball tournament organized by RoboMarkets AEL in support of KEPAKY and POAA was held at Nikos Solomonidis. The vouchers given to KEPAKY will strengthen the program “A Hand to Youth” this Christmas!
  • December 7 – KEPAKY held the children’s workshop “The Little Baker” at Ploumisto Psomi, where Dorita Voskaridou told folk tales to the young children and they made dough constructions together.
  • A visit was made to the “Konstantinion” senior citizens’ home in view of the Christmas holidays. We were also joined by the Papadakios Municipal Conservatory choir with their conductor Corinna Vasiliou who sang Christmas carols to our elderly.
  • Together with “Mr. Hat”, Mohammed Awwad, we visited the pediatric ward of the Limassol General Hospital and shared laughter, joy and small gifts with the young children who are hospitalized there.
  • “A Hand to Youth” Christmas 2019 – The established institution of KEPAKY, which offers assistance to needy students through schools and sports academies, took place in December at our company’s offices. For this Christmas we offered assistance to 105 families in our city.

2020

  • January 4 – A Christmas performance was held for our little friends “The Gifts of the Santa Claus”. The performance was a social contribution by KEPAKY to the children of Pelendri Primary School, as part of the outdoor activities.
  • January 13 – Lecture on school bullying with school psychologist Mrs. Georgia Georgiou at Pelendri Primary School. The lecture was accompanied by AEL football players who spoke to the children about the phenomenon.
  • January 15 – Cutting of a Vasilopita with the Board of Directors of KEPAKY
  • February 12 – Lecture on school bullying with school psychologist Mrs. Georgia Georgiou at AEL basketball academies for school-age children. The lecture was held in the presence of the team’s coach Mr. George Palalas.
  • February 21 – Inauguration of the 2nd Model Treatment Center for People with Autism, during which equipment worth 100,000 euros for the sensory integration rooms and sensory room were delivered to the Association for People with Autism.
  • March – June: The health crisis of Covis-19 also broke out in Cyprus, resulting in a strict lockdown. This was the reason for the creation of the humanitarian initiative “Yellow Line of Help and Solidarity”. An idea by Andreas Sofocleous which is being implemented through the partnership of KEPAKY, AEL and Mr. Kostas Vichas. With the slogan “Together we can” it began in the difficult circumstances to offer food packages to vulnerable groups throughout Cyprus, through cooperation with municipalities, communities and organized groups.
  • July 7 – Signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Technical and Vocational Training Institute (TEPAK) with the aim of supporting 23 students of the Technical and Vocational Training Institute with food packages through the “Yellow Line” and offering 2 scholarships to students each academic year through the “Study Aid” program
  • September 16 – Sending humanitarian aid to Lebanon in view of the devastating explosion, with 500 packages with basic items sent to the Homenmen Beirut Sportive Association. The Rotary Club Limassol – Amathusia Cyprus actively contributed to the food collection.
  • September 24 – As part of the “A Hand to Youth” program, clothing and footwear vouchers were delivered to 70 elementary and high school students facing socio-economic difficulties.
  • September 25 – Creation of an anti-racist clip with the Cypriot rapper JULIO in collaboration with AEL with the aim of informing and raising awareness of the world around the multifaceted issue of racism. Great joy
  • October – November: 172 students who received scholarships to date. For the academic year 2020-21, 15,000 euros were given to 15 students whose criteria were economic – social and academic.
  • December – 807 families were helped by KEPAKY within the framework of the “A Hand to Youth” program to date.
  • December 21 – Christmas gift collection campaign “No child without a Christmas gift” through which over 500 gifts were distributed to young children.
  • December – Delivery of Christmas food packages accompanied by sweets and Vasilopita.

2021

  • January – Act of service and love from the Yellow Line to children hospitalized at Makarios Hospital and the pediatric ward. A delegation of AEL gave gifts and toys for the children.
  • February 11 – Support for the Food of Love social kitchen created by Konstantinos Kvasilava in Paphos, by sending raw materials for cooking.
  • February – Through the Yellow Line program and with the help of Mr. Costas Vichas, packages with basic items were delivered in Nicosia to artists who faced difficulties after the coronavirus pandemic.
  • March – For International Women’s Day we created gifts, from which the sales proceeds were donated to support the “Yellow Line” program.
  • March – One year after the creation of the “Yellow Line” program, the “Yellow Kitchen” was created with volunteer chefs who cook for our fellow human beings.
  • April – Awarding of the “Ethics and Contribution” Award for the Yellow Line’s action at the 48th Celebration of Excellence organized by the Cyprus Sports Writers’ Association.
  • April 2 – Participation in World Autism Day with the Proteas Management Service office illuminated in blue.
  • April – Easter campaign “A Hand to Youth” 4,334 coupons worth 60 euros were delivered to middle and high school students. 1300 packages with basic necessities were delivered to families with financial difficulties.
  • July – Delivery of water and dry food to the coordination center that operated in Skarinou, after the deadly fire in the Limassol district.
  • August – Pancyprian campaign “We give smiles to all children” which aimed to provide school equipment to primary school children.
  • September – Delivery of clothing for refugees at the Pournara reception center in Kokkinotrimithia.
  • September 29 – Lecture on “Children and Electronic Devices, Understanding and Dealing with the Phenomenon” at the Technical University of Cyprus in collaboration with the Latino religious community in Cyprus.
  • October – KEPAKY awarded 18 scholarships, worth 18,000 euros, to students with socio-economic difficulties, continuing the institution of study aids for the 12th consecutive year.
  • October 9 – Limassol coastline clean-up campaign with the gathering of approximately 300 volunteers, collecting a large volume of garbage from Lady’s Mile beach to the Monastery.
  • November – Creation of a calendar for 2022 by KEPAKY and AEL with the aim of promoting the adoption of stray animals and supporting shelters with essential items.
  • December 9 – Organization of the theatrical performance “NTA” by Hugh Leonard in collaboration with THOK, where the proceeds were allocated to support the Yellow Line programs.
  • December – Sending clothing and gifts for children at the Kofinou refugee detention center.
  • December – KEPAKY for the 2nd consecutive year organized a Pancyprian Christmas campaign to collect Christmas gifts which were given to 2000 needy children throughout Cyprus. The campaign was carried out in collaboration with the Pancyprian Confederation of Parents and Guardians of Public and Community Kindergartens.
  • Yellow Line – Over 1000 Christmas food packages were given to families through schools, municipalities, associations and organized groups.
  • A hand to youth – 210 clothing vouchers were given to school students.
  • Gifts were delivered to children in the schools of Rizokarpaso.

2022

  • July 26 – KEPAKY sponsored the Cypriot delegation to participate in the judo tournament in the international program “Olympic Dreams 2022” organized by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine with the support of the Ukrainian charitable foundation “Future for Children” and Anatoliy Boyko. A friendly tournament between athletes from Ukraine, Greece and Cyprus held in Loutraki (Greece) at the Sport Camp of the “Youth Sports and Training Center” with the support of Sport Village and “KEPAKY”
  • November – Renovation of the parents’ waiting room in the neonatal department of the Limassol General Hospital with the kind sponsorship of the KEPAKY foundation
  • December 7 – KEPAKY in collaboration with the Pancyprian Confederation of Secondary Education Parents held a lecture on “School violence: What we know and how we protect students” at the TEPAK

  • January 3 – Award ceremony of K. Andreas Sofocleous for his timeless contribution to society by the Limassol Secondary School Parents’ Associations Federation
  • January 12 – A charity Comedy Night was held with comedian Zacharias Zannetou, organized by the Cyprus Police Association, with the aim of supporting the programs of KEPAKY
  • February – 1298 love packages were delivered by the ‘Yellow Line’ supporting groups of our vulnerable fellow human beings.
  • April 2 – In view of World Autism Awareness Day, KEPAKY illuminated the Proteas House building in blue.
  • April 17 – A group of representatives from the 2nd Technical School visited KEPAKY and helped prepare Easter food packages while offering handmade candles to be given to families supported through the ‘Yellow Line’ Program
  • April 24 – Representatives of schools and associations attended the KEPAKY premises, where they were given 220 coupons for clothing and footwear to be given to needy students.
  • April 24 – Members of the KEPAKY Board of Directors and The Mascot Land team visited the Pediatric Department and the Pediatric Wing of Makarios Hospital where they distributed gifts and moments of joy to the children who were hospitalized.
  • May 25 – The Limassol Bar Association organized a Fun Day and a charity football match where all proceeds were donated to KEPAKY
  • May 26 – KEPAKY organized an excursion for 35 children attending the All-Day School operating in Ayia Napa to watch the European U17 Youth Championship between Ukraine and Cyprus.
  • May 30 – The Founder of KEPAKY Mr. Andreas Sofocleous and the President of the Board of Directors Mrs. Azucena Sofocleous visited the “Apostolos Pavlos” Centers in Liopetri for people with special abilities and the “Smile Project by Autism Support Famagusta” where they met with the management and were informed about the programs and possible ways of support from our Foundation.
  • June 1 – On the occasion of World Children’s Day, the Municipality of Ayia Napa in collaboration with KEPAKY organized a painting exhibition with works by children from Ukraine who attend the afternoon school established by KEPAKY.
  • June 2 – KEPAKY participated in the 30th Children’s Festival and the 16th Summer Children’s Festival organized by the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
  • July – Operation of a Summer School for Ukrainian Refugee Children in Ayia Napa
  • August 31 – A Graduation Ceremony of the Afternoon School for Ukrainian Refugee Children in Ayia Napa was held.
  • September – In view of the 2024-2025 school year, KEPAKY organized a campaign to collect school supplies and school clothing. At the end of the campaign, KEPAKY managed to support 206 students in the new school year.
  • October – The process of selecting students for support through the KEPAKY Study Assistance Program was completed, from which this year we supported 21 students for a total amount of 22,500 euros.
  • November 3 – KEPAKY, in the context of supporting and promoting acts of solidarity and love, supported the running races organized by the Cyprus Runners’ Association “Pericles Demetriou”. The event was dedicated to the memory of Angelos Sofocleous and against bullying.
  • November 9 and November 11 – KEPAKY, within the framework of supporting and promoting the culture of our country, supported the Zivania Festival that took place in the village of Pelendri.
  • December 1 – KEPAKY supported the love marathon organized by the Sotiris Koritsas Foundation in collaboration with the Cyprus Runners’ Association “Pericles Demetriou”, an event dedicated to the elderly.
  • December – For the 12th year, the “A Hand to Youth” Program supports needy students with vouchers by providing 100 vouchers worth 60 euros each to students of Secondary Schools throughout Cyprus. 
  • December – For the 5th consecutive year, KEPAKY organized the “No Child Without a Gift at Christmas” campaign, collecting Christmas gifts to be given to children.
